China has officially joined the Hague Apostille Convention. US documents intended for use in China will only require an Apostille. No need for Multiple layers of Authentication by government agencies. The Apostille Convention came into force on November 7, 2023.
All personal or Commercial documents intended to be used in China will now require Apostille only, There is no need to submit the documents to the Embassy for Authentication.
